New this season: our pretty, made in America, stretchy, step-in Post-Op Cami with pockets that hold up to 4 drains, plus pockets for breast forms.
Also new, our Lymphedema Alert Sleeve to ensure that Blood Pressure is not taken and Needles of any kind are not used on the surgical side.
We continue to offer our original Camisole and a Belt for supporting surgical drains. Both are specially designed for breast surgery patients to wear home from the hospital and while recouperating from surgery. Each has pockets attached with Velcro® that make it easier to support and empty the drains that are left in the surgical site after surgery.
The Camisole also includes two side-entry pockets for breast forms and two breast forms with removable poly-fill for easy size adjustment.
Our Lightweight Micro-Bead Form and Adjustable Fiber-Filled Forms are also useful after surgery. The Micro-Bead Form is 80% lighter than foam.
The Fiber-Filled Forms are self-adjustable.
All the forms can be worn on either side.
Another new product, the Butterfly Pill Box, provides easy, lightweight transport for your pills.
Please note: All of our Breast Forms, Pocketed Bras and Camis are covered by Medicare.
If you are enrolled in Medicare, TLC will take care of filing for reimbursement on your behalf for all such items.
Necessary forms for you to fill out and return to us to enable us to file for you will be included with all Medicare-covered items.
Medicare will partially reimburse for one Silicone Breast Form (2 Forms for bilateral surgeries) every 2 years or one Foam Form (2 Forms for bilateral surgeries) every 6 months.
Medicare will partially reimburse for 4-6 Mastectomy Bras, or as many as are medically needed/indicated by your doctor.
For example, additional Bras may be prescribed as a result of surgery and/or loss or gain of weight.
Medicare will reimburse for as many Camis as are medically necessary, but not more than 3 per month.
Please note: We can file for Medicare reimbursement on your behalf only if your primary provider is Medicare. We can not file if your primary is Medicare HMO, Managed Care, Sterling, or MVP (USA Care).
